Your personal information
Milton Baptist Church CIO manages your Room Hire information. Read our privacy notice for information about how it is used.
Ask about your data
You can ask to see or correct your personal information, request erasure or restriction, or object to its use where those rights apply. Email office@milton-baptist.org.uk, telephone the church office on 01934 641574, or write to Milton Baptist Church, Baytree Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS22 8HJ. You do not need an account or a special form.
Please describe what you need and, if possible, give the email address used for your bookings. Do not send your password, payment-card details or identity documents unless the church has explained why they are needed and how to provide them securely.
We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity before disclosing or changing personal records. Requests normally require a response within one calendar month, subject to the applicable rules on identity checks, clarification and extensions. The church will explain any lawful reason for retaining information or refusing part of a request.
Bookings and account closure
Cancelling a booking releases that reservation. It does not erase its records. Removing an account from normal lists also does not erase all information. Financial, correspondence and recovery records may need separate review. Tell the office explicitly if you are asking for personal-data erasure.
What appears publicly
Private bookings show occupied room times without their booking name or description. Confirmed public bookings can show the booking name, description, room and time. Contact details and custom form answers are not included in the public booking calendar or its public feed. Avoid personal or sensitive information in public titles and descriptions.
Church Events are separately published listings. Please contact the office if a published event needs to be corrected or withdrawn as well as its booking.
Messages and concerns
Booking, account and invoice messages help administer your arrangements. Tell the office if you want regular-hirer renewal prompts stopped. Creating a booking account does not subscribe you to the church newsletter.
You can also raise a data-protection concern with the Information Commissioner's Office.
