Sunday Service with Communion: There Is More Joy in Giving Than Receiving

When Jesus said there is more joy in giving than in receiving, he turned our vision of what it means to live the ‘good life’ on its head. And yet, we often live in a state of financial fear and scarcity-mindset, or that of desire and greed when it comes to our finances and belongings. Jesus’ teaching on money and possessions sounds absurd or even reckless to our modern ears. Nevertheless, financial generosity is a pathway to happiness, and the trust it displays connects us deeper to the joyfully generous heart of God. Join us for our Sunday morning service, including Communion. Everyone is welcome.
